There is one strategy that I have used my entire business that has helped me write, create, and sell my coaching authentically, ethically, and simply --- telling my stories, relating them back to clients biggest challenges, and offering solutions.
Industry Leaders are Storytellers.
When you know how to tell stories, you stayyyy prepared for podcast interviews, speaking opportunities, and going live. It will become natural for you to relate your stories to your audiences biggest challenges, connect to where they are in their journey, and establish yourself as am authentic expert.
Here's what I see a lot of when it comes to
storytelling (that I do not recommend)
- ONLY Telling the POSITIVE Stories: Most people think only big transformation stories sell. So they focus a lot on the big result and big wins, when in reality --- people want to know the simple, mundane stories. They want the full picture, not just the wins. I'll teach you the types of stories convert and connect you with your audience faster.
- Trauma Dumping: Being vulnerable and sharing realities are a beautiful thing but there is a way to do it and a way to NOT do it. There is a fine line between being in service to people versus dumping your bad energy on your audience.
- Thinking Your Story is About You: If you want to tell your stories and connect with your audience in a deeper way, you stories aren't all about you. They are about your audience, clients, and anyone interested in working with you.
- Not SELLING: Telling an impactful story without giving your audience another place to go after is like being invited to a party and not being offered a drink. Selling is SERVICE and inside Selling with Stories, I'll teach you how to create call to actions that are authentic and converting.
It's an easy content shift because the stories are yours.
